Hi,
I have just bought a HP i3 laptop running windows 7. The problem is when it connects to my router in wireless mode the connection status is:
Unidentified network
No network access
Limited access
Signal strength good
Security type wep
Radio type 802.11g
SSID Belkin54g
When I try to connect I get a message saying that the internet explorer cannot display the web page, I then pressed the diagnosed the problem button and I comes up with a message verify the network security key for belkin54g.
I have tried changing the network security key using text and in hex, but it rejects my password and gives an error network key you have entered is not valied.
It will connect when the security is turned off, but obviously this is no good.
The problem is made worse because this is the first time I have used windows 7.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, any help would be appreciated.
