Cant find a program I downloaded

I DOWNLOADED A DESKTOP PUBLISHER FROM THE INTERNET.
IT SAID IT WAS INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER.
BUT I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE ON THE COMPUTER.
I ALSO TRIED TO DOWNLOAD IT ON A PORTABLE USB STICK SO I COULD TRANSPORT IT TO ANOTHER COMPUTER THAT DOESN'T HAVE
INTERNET.
BUT WHEN I INSERTED IT INTO THE OTHER COMPUTER,IT WASN'T ANYWHERE ON THE STICK EITHER.

IS THERE ANY ADVICE OR ASSISTANCE YOU COULD OFFER ME IN GETTING THIS FREE SOFTWARE LOADED ONTO MY SYSTEM????? I SURE WILL APPRECIATE IT.....

What desktop publisher program are you attempting to install?
 
Method 1:
If the program is installed, you may check the following location to see if the program is listed.
Step 1:
a.
Click the Start button, select Control Panel.

b.
Click Programs and Features, and click Installed Programs.
Step 2:
You may also check the following location:
C:\Programfiles
If you see the program, then create a shortcut to desktop.
Open the program, Right click on .exe file and sent to desktop.
 
Method 2:
If not, you may check if the downloaded files are saved to the default download location.
You may check the default download location or the location you have set to save downloaded files to see if the Fixit is downloaded.
Default location: C:\Users\USER_NAME (your name)\downloads

If you see the Files in the default location, then copy and save the file to the desktop and try installing the program from there.
 
You can also copy and save the same file from desktop to the USB stick to get it installed on another computer.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Cant find a program I downloaded in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.

Reboot your Windows & see if error Cant find a program I downloaded is still there.
