Automatically autofit row height - Excel 2007
I have searched the forums and can't quite find anyone else looking for help on this specific problem.
I will try to be brief.
I have a set of cells 6x6.
I have formatted them with borders etc to look like a table.
Each of the cells changes its content by using vlookup.
The 6 columns are fixed width and must remain so.
The cells are set to "wrap text".
How can I make it so that each of the six rows automatically grows and shrinks to the size of the cell with the most information?
Could it be that by using vlookup to change the contents of the cells is the problem?
Solutions to the Problem Automatically autofit row height - Excel 2007
Keep in mind that Excel is NOT a word-processing application, and that autofit for wrapped text is far from perfect: Excel frequently allocates height for an unneeded extra line, and the on-screen display does not always correspond to printed output.
for what it's worth:
You could use the Worksheet_Calculate event in the worksheet module to autofit the rows.
Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
where C3:H8 is the 6x6 cells table.
