App Crashes

Hello.
Im having a **** of a time with a finger print reader causing me issue.
Im using microsale pos software version 8.2319 and windows 7 embedded and a touch dynamic pulse with a digital personal URU.
I have installed the drivers (several times) and
when i go to load the finger print function it crashes microsale and windows cannont find a soultion.
I have used revo to strip it out and start over, i have ran the install of microsale over, i have used glary to clean up any reg errors, and viewed the event
viewer which says Faulting application name: Micro$ale.exe, version: 8.0.0.2319, time stamp: 0x528a3f43 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18229, time stamp: 0x51fb10c6 Exception code: 0xc06d007e Ive read this could be a user profile error
and have tried using a new profile.
The only thing i can think of that i have not done is run the recovery partition and start from 0.
Any help is appriciated.
