AutoComplete for Web addresses - Works for "http:\\www.google.com" but not for "google.com" Tech Support

AutoComplete for Web addresses - Works for "http:\\www.google.com" but not for "google.com"

I have some problems with AutoComplete in IE8.
It works fine in IE6.
Ex:
When i type "http:\\www.google.com" in the addressbar it stays and next time I can find it in addressbar but if I type "google.com" or "microsoft.com" it das't work.
I cant find google.com in the addressbar!

GPO that is causing the problem is a folder redirection GPO that points user's Favorites to home folder (%HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH%Favoriter).
CLASS USER
   CATEGORY "Favoriter"

   POLICY "Favoriter"
             KEYNAME "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders"
              PART "Favoriter" EDITTEXT
                  KEYNAME "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders"
                  VALUENAME "Favorites"
                  #if VERSION >= 2
                   EXPANDABLETEXT
                  #endif
              END PART
   END POLICY ; Favoriter

END CATEGORY ; "Favoriter"
[STRINGS]

It works fine if I disable this GPO setting or point it to a folder that das't exist.
I can't turn off folder redirection so is there maybe some fix for this issue?
