I upgraded my windows 7 home basic installed in my laptop hp pavilion g6-2103tu to windows 8 pro a few days back.  Post upgradation I find that the Broadcom Bluetooth device is not detected by windows 8 and not listed in the device manager.  Installation
of updated driver from HP (sp59021.exe)  failed with the msg "no Bluetooth device was detected.
please make sure your Bluetooth device is plugged in properly to continue with the installation". 
I also get an error msg on start up saying that "hp connection manager has  stopped responding please exit and re-start the application".
 
Please help me fix the problem

Using System Restore

• Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
• Type "System Restore" (without quotes) in the Search box and hit Enter or,
• Click on System Restore (when you see System Restore pop up  in the list of search results).
• Make sure the "Recommended restore" radio button is checked on the restore utility window.
• Click on Next and follow the instructions given.

Unless you have a specific reason to select a different date and time than what Windows recommends, just select the recommended option stated in the steps above.
